Writing presentations with Jupyter Notebooks is very easy using Markdown, Jupytext, Rise and Reveal.js. You can create a simple Markdown document and once you open this document, it gets converted automatically into a presentation. This workflow still requires the "old" Notebook UI, which you can reach by replacing /lab with /tree at the end of your URL in your Jupyter Hub Session.
