The Problem

If you want to save a file from excel as csv, Excel does not save the file with comma-separated values on computers with german region settings, but uses the semicolon as separator. This leads to problems with other programs that processes the *.csv file.

If you export the upper file as a .csv file with Excel and open it with the editor instead of Excel, you will see that Excel uses semicolons instead of commas.

Change the list-seperator to comma

To get Excel to use commas instead of semicolons, you need to adjust your operating system.
